Further to Taz’s update the other day we have now had further confirmation from England Hockey on what the current restrictions mean for the club.
They have confirmed that adult players are unable to travel between T3 areas, even if they are neighbouring areas, to participate in hockey.
This means that those club members who are in Lancashire will still not be able to attend training or play until further notice.
The only exception for adults is for people who have a paid contract in place to provide hockey services such as a coach.
There is some good news though, those of you lucky enough to be under 18 are still free to travel into and out of tier 3 areas to participate in hockey. Wether you do this is of course a personal choice and it is recommended any travel is done within your bubble to remain as safe as possible.
As always, if you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask your captain or a member of the committee. We will do our best to answer but may need some time to ensure any answer we give you is correct and would appreciate your patience in this regard.
Stay safe everyone and good luck to those who are still able to play this weekend!
